Saturdays at the Café is a weekly feature hosted here to talk about and discuss the books I’ve discovered during the past week, added to my shelf and am excited about reading. They may be new/scheduled releases I’ve seen on NetGalley, at the library, or from publishers or they may be older titles my friends have reviewed and shared on Goodreads or blogs.

Suzanne @ The Bookish Libra featured the 2nd book in the series in her Can’t Wait Wednesday post and it reminded me how much I loved the author’s first series, Daughter of Smoke and Bone. So, I’m giving this one a try, again on audio (my library has it!).

The synopsis is pretty compelling but when I read the review by Jennifer ~ Tar Heel Reader, I immediately added this title. Fingers crossed for audio review.
