Welcome to my new Friday feature! Created by the wonderful Meggy @ Chocolate ‘n’ Waffles, it’s a remedy against feeling down by creating a list of all the good things happening in my life this week. I became so inspired by her weekly posts and later also that by Nickimags @ Secret Library Book Blog, I felt it was time to begin sharing my own good feelings. It can be anything, from the smallest gesture from a stranger to a major event in your life that alters the direction of your day. Maybe something here will bring a smile to you in the moment.
I reached a new weight loss goal level and am wearing one size lower! I’ve discovered a whole new wardrobe in my closet💜
I finished a book for a blog tour that I was dreading because I didn’t think I was going to like it. Turns out…it was a really good page turner!
When it’s really hot outside, I have to stay in because the humidity really kills my respiratory system. This week, the temps dropped dramatically, there was no humidity and it was gorgeous outside, even when it rained! This is my walking spot, Bicentennial Park.
Speaking of rain…I’ve always wanted red rain boots and finally got a pair when they showed up as a special on The View’s View Your Deal! And, my sister got me one of those reversible umbrellas that I didn’t know I wanted until she gave it to me💜
- Our family beach house is almost complete! One week away…
- My sister lost weight this week when she thought she’d gained!
- Hubby got good news regarding his health. Important indicators reduced dramatically to safe levels😍
- My nephew is doing fabulously at his new job🎉🎉🎉
I am truly thrilled for all your good news this week! I don’t like the heat either and it looks like rain for the next while. Since I have a long list of indoor projects it’s fine for me. I hope this next week is just as great!

Love this! And what is a reversible umbrella? Have a lovely weekend!

Thank you! The reversible umbrella closes inside-out, which prevents it from getting blown out and destroyed. And, when you close it getting in a car, the water doesn’t drip on you.

Meggy, I can’t adequately express how grateful I am to you for starting this expression of gratitude. I’ve tried to launch this for three weeks but was in my circumstances. Now that I’ve begun, I’m paying more attention each moment to the things I’ve taken for granted.

Lovely lady, I am glad if this can help you. It makes me happy if you can feel a little lighter or look at what surrounds you in a different light so your days feel brighter, even slightly. Being in the moment is really helpful, but I never imagined this feature would touch someone else 🙂 Sending you the warmest hugs x

Such a fun post. We all could use more positivity in our lives, so what a great idea. My big thing this week was that I finally got to start riding my horse again this year. I always have to give him winters off, but I’m usually on him before now in the spring. We’ve had so much rain that my pastures were too muddy, so I took him to a boarding stable where they have an indoor arena to ride in. I’m glad to be back on him, but I’m very sore. LOL Have a great week.
