The Positivity Wave #41

The Positivity Wave
Welcome to my Friday feature! Created by the wonderful Meggy @ Chocolate ‘n’ Waffles, it’s a remedy against feeling down by creating a list of all the good things happening in my life this week. I became so inspired by her weekly posts and later also that by Nickimags @ Secret Library Book Blog,  I felt it was time to begin sharing my own good feelings. It can be anything, from the smallest gesture from a stranger to a major event in your life that alters the direction of your day. Maybe something here will bring a smile to you in the moment.

I’m Grateful

This week, I’m going to focus on all the things I’m grateful for in the midst of all the worldwide worry and concern.

    • I won an audiobook giveaway! It’s Tru Blue by Melissa Foster

Tru Blue

    • I received all the audiobooks I requested this month for audio review. The timing couldn’t be better.
    • I don’t lack for toilet paper!!!
    • My WW workshops have transitioned to online using Zoom for the time being. I was worried so this is a good thing.
    • My two sisters are now able to telework from home! This is a great thing as I was concerned for their well being.
    • I got caught up with my favorite show, This Is Us! I was 10 episodes behind and did a serious binge watch this past weekend.

This is Us

    • I got Disney Plus free for one year because of my Verizon plan! Immediately watched the new version of The Lion King.

Disney Plus

  • We have all the supplies we need for the foreseeable future.

I continue to pause and reflect upon the people and things in my life that truly matter. For that, I’m grateful.

What are you grateful for in this moment?

  1. Definitely grateful here for all we have, and my partner is working from home for the foreseeable future, so that has taken a weight off my mind. And yes, we too are stocked up with what we hope is enough for a few weeks.

    Take care, Jonetta!

  2. It’s always a treasure when in the times of tragedy we can see what is good in or lives. All my family is well and next weekend my daughter and SIL make the move to WS. My husband and I move into our new home tomorrow and even though right now seems to be times of darkness, we are most grateful for our new home, our health, and having the things we need.

    Stay well everyone!

  3. So much to be grateful for, and it is important during this time that we count our blessings. Great post Jo. I was on the road on Friday, so did not post this week. I will have a long list this Friday, starting with grateful to be back home safe and healthy.
