Welcome to my Friday feature! Created by the wonderful Meggy @ Chocolate ‘n’ Waffles, it’s a remedy against feeling down by creating a list of all the good things happening in my life this week. I became so inspired by her weekly posts and later also that by Nickimags @ Secret Library Book Blog, I felt it was time to begin sharing my own good feelings. It can be anything, from the smallest gesture from a stranger to a major event in your life that alters the direction of your day. Maybe something here will bring a smile to you in the moment.
I know deep in my heart that I have lots to be grateful for in the midst of all the worldwide worry and concern. If I keep my focus on gratitude, I’ll feel its constant presence.
After a slow start to the season because of COVID-19, the beach house rentals are getting robust!! Just in the financial nick of time.
I’m back on the treadmill! One day down, four to go…
I finished the two books in Cate Beauman’s Carter Island series and am completely hungover, in a good way, after almost 900 pages of two wonderful stories. I’m seriously missing that island.
I failed to make my eye appointment before the lockdown and was running out of my supply of lenses for my left eye. Found another box of them! I’m good for another three months.
Hubby and I decided to do more cooking and eat at home. We haven’t had a delivery in two weeks and we’re loving our own creations.
I love black beans and I love hummus. Found my happy place when this showed up at my grocery store! Yum!!!😏
My WW studio opened for product sales! No more shipping costs for my favorite snacks.
If you didn’t see John Legend’s Father’s Day special you missed a treat. I loved his outdoor performances.🥰
I continue to pause and reflect upon the people and things in my life that truly matter. For that, I’m grateful.
More wonderful things! I am so glad. You deserve the best.

Thank you, Suz💜 Trust me, you’ve GOT to try good hummus. They’re great with your favorite crackers or pita chips. My favorite is the Boar’s Head sweet garlic chili, or it was until I tried this one.

Thanks, Nicki💜 I’ve worn my glasses all week and it’s a pain when I read since I have to take them off. Finding those lenses is a Godsend.

Haha, I like the one with the contact lenses, things like that actually makes me happy as well. 🙂 During the lockdown I have had homemade food every day, but now when all the good take away places and coffee shops are opening again, my willpower is floundering…

Stargazer, of all the good things those lenses made me the happiest🥰 Everyone delivers around here and it gets expensive. We decided we like our cooking better.

Great week, great finds, great happenings. Makes me happy reading about your week always!
We now get to see the grandkids (their parents too!) everyday. We pick up our grandson from camp at the children’s museum and to see his happiness at the fun day he had is so worth it. My daughter and son in law finally closed on their NY house after five months of anguish. It’s been gorgeous weather and we love it. …and I was just approved for Anthony Horowitz’s Moonlight Murders. (Jan was too!) It’s been a good week!
Happy weekend to all!

Oh, Marialyce, I’m so happy you’re having so much time with your grandchildren💜 Warms my heart. Congrats on the sale of the NY home! I’ve been there and know that feeling.
Kudos on the Horowitz book! I’m expecting another one of those fabulous duo reviews. You two really are compatible writers. I love when I see one of your posts.
Have a wonderful weekend!

I’m dying to buy a treadmill so I would be able to work out without enduring the heat outside! xx

Wonderful things happening here Jonetta. I am so glad the rentals are picking up for you. That must be such a relief. I just enjoyed the John Legend video. I had a wonderful week full of visits from my family using the pool which was so awesome. Enjoy the upcoming week.

Thanks Jo. It is a sports pool, not big, but enough to cool down, do some exercise and play with the kids.
