I read this almost eight years ago after I’d already gotten up to date in the series and Sam and Nick’s encounter was always referenced without any details. Left to my imagination, it didn’t even come close to the reality in this story!
the narration…
I love Eva Kaminsky’s voice for Sam and she did justice to her more youthful version. I’m glad I chose to listen to this story the second time around because it made a difference.
the bottom line…
Since I’m rereading the series, it all feels new as it’s been over ten years since I first started. I like that it also feels like a clean slate and have this anticipation of what’s next for Sam and Nick. The encounter? They broke the thermometer.
