Saturdays at the Café is a weekly feature hosted here to talk about and discuss the books I’ve discovered during the past week, added to my shelf and am excited about reading. They may be new/scheduled releases I’ve seen on NetGalley, at the library, or from publishers or they may be older titles my friends have reviewed and shared on Goodreads or blogs.

A good friend of mine was sharing her love for the new Hulu series Feud. She also recommended (knowing me well) that I listen to the book it’s based on first. Thanks to my library for the audiobook.

I hadn’t heard of this until it showed up at my library. So many of my Goodreads friends gave it rave reviews and I was hooked by the description. Quickly grabbed the audiobook.

I’d initially given this a pass when it was offered for audio review. But then I read the review by Yvonne @ Me and My Books and immediately changed my mind.

I hadn’t heard of this until the audiobook showed up at my library and thought it sounded interesting. I also learned it was inspired by Taylor Swift, though reviewers don’t seem to see a connection 🤷🏽‍♀️

I made no secret that I really wanted this book but it wasn’t available in the US…except through the NetGalley UK site. I had no idea I could access that site until one of my Goodreads friends shared that info. I got it as an audio read now and am thrilled!
