Saturdays at the Café is a weekly meme hosted here, at Blue Mood Cafe, to talk about and discuss the books I’ve discovered during the past week, added to my shelf and am excited about reading. They may be new/scheduled releases I’ve seen on NetGalley, at the library, or from publishers or they may be older titles my friends have reviewed and shared on Goodreads or blogs.

I saw a few friends’ reviews of this book and became intrigued. I was in banking for many years so I was naturally drawn in by the description.

Ava Miles is one of my favorite authors so when I received her latest newsletter, I immediately added this book to my shelf.

The first book in this series is on next month’s reading plan for a Traveling Friends group  read and I understand it ends in a cliffhanger. I’m just getting prepared to jump right into this one once I’ve finished Stillhouse Lake.
