Saturdays at the Café is a weekly feature hosted here to talk about and discuss the books I’ve discovered during the past week, added to my shelf and am excited about reading. They may be new/scheduled releases I’ve seen on NetGalley, at the library, or from publishers or they may be older titles my friends have reviewed and shared on Goodreads or blogs.

I’m a longtime fan of the author and was thrilled to get this for review. It’s scheduled for release in August and is the first in the new Colburn Brothers series.

I initially gave this a pass when it was offered for audio review but changed my mind after reading the review by Amanda @ Girl Loves Dogs, Books and Wine.

I hadn’t heard of this until I read the review by Louis @Book Me a Read. I’m in the library queue for the audiobook.

I’d also given this a pass until I read the review by a trusted Goodreads friend and changed my mind.
