It got eerie as Nikki’s old memories began to surface and made her consider whether she’s Frost’s focus.

Kate Handford has become a favorite and her storytelling skills are wonderful.

the bottom line…
I was looking forward to when Frost would become the singular focus since he was in the background of the prior books. It didn’t disappoint as the procedurals were strong and the clues puzzling. But when it looked like it was personal to Nikki, I felt strongly that she should step back and consult instead of continuing to lead the investigation. No matter, I was still glued to the story as it got more sinister and dangerous. I was stunned by the exciting conclusion. Nothing predictable about this series and I’m even more interested in what’s next.
