Saturdays at the Café is a weekly feature hosted here to talk about and discuss the books I’ve discovered during the past week, added to my shelf and am excited about reading. They may be new/scheduled releases I’ve seen on NetGalley, at the library, or from publishers or they may be older titles my friends have reviewed and shared on Goodreads or blogs.

I learned of this book from Kristin @ Kristin Kraves Books when it was featured in her Stacking the Shelves post. It’s a library audiobook hopeful scheduled for release in July.

I inadvertently stumbled upon this book, scheduled for release in January, when I was researching another series but for a different author. Good news because it’s the second book in a new series where I thought the first book was a standalone! It’s an audio review hopeful.

I’ve seen this book everywhere, including other book bloggers and reviews by Goodreads friends. The audiobook showed up at my library this week and I finally added and grabbed it.

I hadn’t heard of this until it showed up at my library but reviews from Goodreads friends confirmed the comparison to the Netflix Inventing Anna series and I was sold! I was fascinated by that story and am in a short queue for the audiobook.

I’ve also seen this book around quite a bit but am still unsure. However, when the audiobook  showed up at my library, I decided to jump into the queue. I like the comparison to Big Little Lies.
