the setup…
Jackson Clark is a radio station weatherman who is also the guardian of his fifteen-year old twin sisters. the heart of the story…
This was one of my most anticipated books and my high expectations were met resoundingly. Opposites is an understatement for Delilah and Jackson as she never met a stranger she didn’t like and most of the world was filled with strangers to avoid for him. But underneath their differing styles is a shared painful past of absent parents. I loved how their relationship developed and the twins, Penelope and Adelaide, just made the story even more delightful.

the narration…
Max Meyers and Brittany Pressley were ideal for these roles as they completely embodied their characters as designed. I loved everything about their performances.

the bottom line…
My love for Borison’s writing is no secret and this was another delicious reading experience. Beneath all the humor were some serious and weighty issues for both Delilah and Jackson, adding lots of depth to the story. I got so wrapped up into it all I didn’t want it to end, even after more than 13 hours of listening. This was special.
