Welcome to my Friday feature! Created by the wonderful Meggy @ Chocolate ‘n’ Waffles, it’s a remedy against feeling down by creating a list of all the good things happening in my life this week. I became so inspired by her weekly posts and later also that by Nickimags @ Secret Library Book Blog, I felt it was time to begin sharing my own good feelings. It can be anything, from the smallest gesture from a stranger to a major event in your life that alters the direction of your day. Maybe something here will bring a smile to you in the moment.
I know deep in my heart that I have lots to be grateful for in the midst of all the worldwide worry and concern. If I keep my focus on gratitude, I’ll feel its constant presence.
I discovered that I get HBO Max free because of my cable subscription! Just what I needed right…another streaming app.
Well, with HBO Max, I got to binge this series. I mean, I’m obsessed with this show and am already up to Season 6 (of 7)!
Hubby and I got our absentee ballots last week. Yesterday, we went to the County Board of Elections office and delivered them in person. Last night, I checked the state site and it reflected that both were received and accepted!
It’s autumn!!! The weather is crisp and chilly, the leaves are turning and the apples are scrumptious. My most favorite of all the seasons🥰
One of the reasons I love September is it’s my birth month! It’s next Tuesday but I’m already celebrating. And, I share it with an uncle, two cousins and a niece.
- My older sister is finally finding peace with her work issues!
- My younger sister is up to a 25 lb weight loss!!!
- I get to resume my outdoor walking now that the weather is cooler and the humidity is gone.
- I got in another workout last week! And, a fun dance session.
- Shadows in Death turned out to be fantastic!
- Fixed hubby’s iPhone after weeks of issues. The surprise? He asked for my help😏
I continue to pause and reflect upon the people and things in my life that truly matter. For that, I’m grateful.
Happiest birthday! 🎈🎉🎈🎉🎈🎉

You’re terrific! If I am on the run this week and don’t get on the computer in time – Happy Birthday! You deserve the very best day and year ahead. I’ve heard the Closer is good. Autumn is my favorite too.

Thank you, Tessa💜 I never watched the show but did see some of the spinoff. I’m kinda glad I didn’t because I would have been frustrated waiting for the next episodes.

How exciting that you’ve already voted! I’m ready to cast my ballot, but my state’s process for mail-in voting is … a little annoying, so I’ll probably have to wait until election day.
But. Happy early birthday! I hope you have a brilliant day.

Thanks, Christopher💜 We’ve a great governor and the Secretary of State has been in that role for over 20 years. It’s all working so smoothly so I wish you the best on Election Day.

I watched a couple best of scenes on YouTube, like the one where they lost the murdered woman in the garage because they went to the Dodgers game 😂

I laughed out loud at that one, too🤣

We loved both shows, although Major Crimes felt more about comedy than The Closer. And yes, Sedgwick is an amazing actress, I marvel at her range. And hope she does something new soon.
Again, happy birthday! 🥳
