I love this challenge hosted by Caffeinated Reviewer and That’s What I’m Talking About. I participated from the beginning when the blogger (Jennifer, The Book Nympho) I learned everything from was one of the inaugural hosts. I was an associate reviewer on her blog for five years.
If you follow my blog, my love of all things audio is no secret. I stepped up my game in 2021 and decided to go for The 100 Club since I listened to more than that in 2020 and I listen to more audiobooks than I read these days. Well, I ended with a whopping total of 124 audiobooks (the final will be posted on Monday). If anything, my love of audio has grown, especially since hubby gifted me with a new set of Bose headphones that holds a 24 hour charge💜💜💜
Here’s the list of levels and what I listened to in 2021:
Levels
- Newbie (I’ll give it a try) 1-5
- Weekend Warrior (I’m getting the hang of this) 5-10
- Stenographer (can listen while multi-tasking) 10-15
- Socially Awkward (Don’t talk to me) 15-20
- Binge Listener (Why read when someone can do it for you) 20-30
- My Precious (I had my earbuds surgically implanted) 30+
- Marathoner (Look Ma No Hands) 50+
- Over-Achiever (Power Listener) 75+
- The 100 Club (Audiobook Elite) 100+

Wow, Jo. You smoked through this one! I’ve never seen someone listen to that many. This is one I’m doing in 2022 too. ❤️

Mischenko, I have fallen completely in love with the audio version. Since they’ve become so popular, publishers have devoted more attention to the production of audiobooks and the selection of narrators. And, my hubby gifted me with the best headphones out there about five years ago. This Christmas, he got me a new pair (sitting on top of my head now).
I’m so happy you’re doing this challenge, too💜

Great job! Our histories have common ground. I never thought about audio until Jennifer. Can you believe I first listened to an audiobook in 2015? Now it is so much a part of my daily life and like you, I listen as much or more than I read. I was able to double my reading by listening to audiobooks.
